It’s been a crazy season. Most of our readers are Angels fans, and I hope you’ve enjoyed watching Halos Daily grow into a somewhat respected Angels blog. I’ve really enjoyed interacting with this community, and I look forward to the offseason of analysis and argument.
A few things happened today that made me scratch my head. First this:

Something I found in the mess of screenshots I took. Note the victory sip near the middle of the image. I’d like to think he bought that beer for next to nothing, and enjoyed it greatly.
Then, in tonight’s game, Mike Trout was caught stealing a base…BY JESUS MONTERO! Here’s a gif of the play. I clocked Montero’s pop times with my stopwatch at home, and consistently saw times in the 1.8-second range. Wowza.
Also, Aaron Samuels asked me what day it was today. And I was wearing pink.
We live in an unpredictable world. We’re trying to get better at guessing at what’s going to happen next, but I’d guees that we’re still guessing 90% of the time. (See what I did there!)
The Angels aren’t in the playoffs, but we’re going to watch the playoffs and talk about them and think of what might have been.
I hope you’ll follow along for the offseason ride. Next week, I’ll begin reporting on Fall Instructional League and Arizona Fall League. Keep an ear out for our podcast, The Angels Address. It’ll be back in the offseason.
Thanks for reading us and enjoying the baseball this season. With that said, enjoy the baseball.

Keep up the good work. Great quality coverage.
I remember thinking that Montero throwing out Trout was emblematic of how our season went. Oh well. There’s always next year and additional platitude.
